Skills/Powers: 
- Capable of accessing the Morphogenetic Field, allowing Kasim to draw upon the abilities of any animal that has ever lived on the planet. I.E. the speed of a cheetah, the strength of an elephant, flight of a bird, underwater breathing of a fish, etc.

Also capable of taking on physical aspects of animals he channels as well, such as shifting into a wolf, or cougar (Currently unable to achieve).

Presence of retractable claws that are capable of rending wood, or soft metals. (Currently unable to achieve).

The ever present Tantu Totem, blessed by the God Anasi, allows Kasim to channel these abilities without succumbing to the natural instincts of the corresponding animal.

Weaknesses/Defects:

- Kasim still is new to his abilities and is unaware of his full potential. Believes that the Totem he wears is simply a family heirloom and nothing more.

Without the Totem Kasim can be overwhelmed by the natural instincts of the animal he draws upon and lose himself completely.

I susceptible to manmade weaponry of almost every variety. Other than his abilities he is an average human with the same weaknesses.

Suffers from nightmares of the night his family was taken away from him.



Biography:

- Kasim was born in Zambesi, M’Changa province. While still a boy, his village was attacked by a rising Warlord, self proclaimed General Maksai who was in search of an legendary artifact that he believed would grant him power and dominion over all of Africa. During the General’s systematic annihilation of the Zambesi people, the artifact came into possession of Kasim’s parents. Crafting a replica of the Tantu Totem, his Father escaped and traveled North, drawing the hordes away. From there, Kasim, his Cousin Mari, and his Mother fled south. Eventually the trio made their way to America, and put the nightmare of Africa behind them.

The Tantu Totem had been gifted to Mari when she first reached her teenage years. Nothing of note happened to the struggling family until Mari reached the age of nineteen. During her walk home from school she was attacked and killed by simple street thugs. Kasim, seventeen, went to identify the body and collect her personal effects. Donning the infamous Tantu Totem for the memory of his Cousin. From that day forward, he dedicated his life to stopping people who only wished to hurt others. Out of school he joined the Baltimore PD. With the motivation of his Cousin to fuel him, he quickly became a model officer and eventually was recruited into the undercover program.



The past six years Kasim has moved from location to location, infiltrating the underground and putting away criminals whenever he can. He wears the Totem everyday as a constant reminder of why he does the job, and who it is he is protecting
